Terms of Service

Welcome to Snug Family Organizer ("Snug", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our web application at snugplanner.com, our Android mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

To use Snug, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information.
• Keeping your password secure and confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Parents or guardians may add children as family members under their supervision.

2. Families and Shared Content

Snug allows you to create families and invite members. When you create content (tasks, appointments, projects, etc.) within a family, all members of that family can view and interact with that content.

As a family owner, you are responsible for managing invitations and membership. You can remove members from your family at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Upload malicious content or code.
• Create accounts through automated means.
• Share your account credentials with others.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Snug. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your family members.

We do not access, review, or use your content for advertising or any purpose other than operating the Service.

5. Pricing and Subscriptions

Snug offers a Free tier and a paid Snug Plus tier. During beta, all Plus features are available for free.

• Free tier: Includes shared calendar, tasks and chores, 2 projects, up to 4 family members, and 1 reminder per task.
• Snug Plus: $4.99/month or $44.99/year per family after beta ends. Includes unlimited projects, family members, recurring tasks, and reminders.

When the beta period ends, Plus features will become read-only for families that do not subscribe. We will never delete your data due to a downgrade.

Early supporters who subscribe within 30 days of beta ending receive a permanent discounted rate of $3.99/month (or $34.99/year).

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Snug Plus subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access to Plus features until the end of your current billing period.
• After that, your family reverts to the Free tier (Plus features become read-only).
• Your data is never deleted.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Snug available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snug and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at info@snugplanner.com. Upon deletion:

• Your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
• Content you created in shared families may remain visible to other family members.
• If you are a family owner, ownership must be transferred before deletion.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will provide notice and an opportunity to export your data unless the violation involves illegal activity or poses a security risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.
